- You come and see us by appointment only so that we can devote our time to you. We provide a homely atmosphere, particularly if the item you want to hear is being enjoyed in our home at the time (!). We’ll invite you in to a real room with real furniture and real acoustics so that you can enjoy the music in an unhurried manner. Bring a few cds that you know well and away we go. Yes, we can do both tea and coffee. For an extra charge, we’ll provide a cushion to rest your chin on when it hits the floor (we think our kit will have that effect on you).
- We come to you. We’re quite happy to bring equipment out to demonstrate for you, incorporating it into your existing system so that you have a direct comparison with what you’re used to hearing. Yes, you do need to make both tea and coffee. We don’t mind if you’re a distance away but, if you are, why not offer us a tenner for our petrol (you would have spent it getting to us anyway). If you go on to purchase from us, we’ll happily forget about that, so you’ll feel like you’ve saved a tenner, not spent one!
The big benefit for you here is that you do the comparisons in your own system and listening room. - Fancy loaning our kit? With a few qualifying criteria satisfied and a little security if you’re borrowing our “crown jewels” models, why not let us lend you your chosen product? Subject to availability, we can arrange this for a couple of days so that you get to listen to it with no clothes on, if that’s your thing. Enduring image, isn’t it?
- Buying online? No problem - just buy through the website. If you don’t like what you bought tell us within 14 days and we’ll give you your money back (see our returns policy). Item must be pristine, boxed with all instructions and accessories and posted to us by insured methods at your cost etc. This does not affect your statutory rights. That sounds harsh but you’re taking the risk that you might not like what you bought and a returned product will find its way to our second hand list. We doubt you’ll ever be disappointed with one of our products even if you do buy without listening but, as they say, you have been warned.
We appreciate that items such as interconnects and speaker wires are more likely to be bought online. With these products, whilst we think you’ll never wish to part with them, if you decide they’re not for you within 28 days of purchase, we’ll give you a full refund (you just pay postage/return costs).
