| NOW SOLD! NOW SOLD! This is our demonstrator and is up for grabs in great condition. Now where did I leave my book of superlatives? For AMR, if a job's worth doing...boy what a job they did. Extruded aluminium and copper make up the chassis/body, valves in the output stage, transport based on Sony and Philips' best, Philips 1541a DAC chip (king of multibits) stretched to show it's incredible capabilities in a product which weighs 35kg. Add the bespoke flight case, 2 cds provided, high quality mains lead and interconnect, isolating feet from aerospace materials, touchscreen, movement sensitive remote, touch sensitive buttons on the unit. Where did I leave my cheque book?..
Fully upgraded now to CD77.1 level, only the outer casing is original CD77, the entire internals being replaced recently. More details... |

| These are our ex-dem (mahogany) pair and we absolutely adore them. You will too. Condition is superb, with the exception that there is a small nick on one corner along the sub unit (tiny - you'd have to be looking to find it) and a couple of the "blobs" that hold the grills on have broken off (grills stay on fine - you'd have to remove them and look on the back to see). As compensation, we've fitted the sub units with Superior Carpet Spikes from Herbies USA. These look cool and definitely do the job so have them on us. 4695 new, save yourself 700, they're barely run in. More details... |
